A Developer's Journey

Bridging Technology, Theology, and Family

I am an Embedded Systems Engineer, passionate about building stable and elegant technical solutions. My life's journey has led me through professional training in both Computer Science (Bachelor of Engineering) and Theology (Master of Divinity).

This dual background has shaped my unique perspective on problem-solving: I strive to tackle complex challenges with technical excellence, clear communication, and a strong sense of purpose. As a Christian, a husband, and a father of three, the LORD my God and my family are the cornerstone of all my work.

My Core Competencies

In the technical domain, I offer the following professional value.

Embedded & Systems Development

Deep experience in developing for embedded Linux environments, creating efficient, stable, and maintainable software for specialized hardware products.

Cloud & Backend Technologies

Proficient in full-stack development and modern workflows, including NodeJS, Socket.IO, and deploying containerized applications with Docker.

AI Deployment & Integration

Hands-on experience in deploying and managing AI models, dedicated to transforming data science insights into real-world productivity.

Where Theology Meets Large Language Models

I am currently building a unique open-source project: a conversational AI capable of simulating the thoughts of the theologian Augustine. By combining RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) with his written works as an external knowledge base and fine-tuning the model, I aim to create a "Digital Augustine" that can engage in deep, intellectual dialogue.

This project is not only a technical challenge but also a profound application of my interdisciplinary background.

Philosophy & Approach

My theological training (Master of Divinity) was not a detour; it profoundly shaped my mindset and equipped me with:

  • Systematic Thinking: The ability to deconstruct complex systems—be they theological doctrines or software architectures—into logical, understandable components.
  • Ethical Frameworks: A strong foundation for making principled decisions in technology, prioritizing long-term user benefit and project integrity.
  • Empathic Communication: The skill to translate highly technical concepts for diverse collaborators, built on an appreciation for different ways of thinking.

My Journey

A non-linear path that has equipped me with a rich and diverse skill set.

Technical Foundation

Starting with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which laid a solid theoretical foundation for my software engineering career.

Theological Formation

Devoted several years to rigorous theological training and full-time church ministry, earning a Master of Divinity and serving as a preacher for three years. This experience greatly sharpened my thinking and completely reshaped my life's purpose.

Return to Engineering

Returning to the tech field with a more comprehensive and rigorous mindset to tackle the challenges of the industry.
